The main goal of this league is to introduce our elementary school kids to the sport of basketball and give them an opportunity to learn and practice the game in a fun & safe environment. Parents can anticipate having a 1-hour practice once per week, as well as a 1-hour game on Saturdays.
YFL is designed to give young athletes in 1st through 6th grade the fundamental skills and knowledge to develop into football players. Players will be trained through drills and live game play to learn the basics of football, the value of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship.
YVL is designed to give young volleyball athletes in 1st through 8th grade the fundamental skills and knowledge to develop into volleyball players. Players will be trained through drills and live game play to learn the basics of volleyball, the value of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship.
Join us for this Summer Sports Sampler starting June 20th. Sports Sampler is designed for our littles aged 3-5 to introduce them to a variety of sports including basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, hockey and baseball.

Learn the basics of the game at our upcoming introduction to tennis lessons designed for beginners. Tennis is the perfect sport to pick up and start playing? It’s safe, easy to learn AND good for you. Whether it’s your first time on the court or you’re returning to the game, we welcome you to sign up and give tennis a shot.
The Dow Bay Area Family YMCA is a popular destination for paddleball, racquetball, squash, and other paddle sports. We’re also home to several National Paddleball Association-approved tournaments throughout the year.
This league runs for 8 weeks in total; 5 weeks of regular season play and 3 weeks of playoffs. Teams will play each team in their division before being seeded for the playoffs. The 1 & 2 seeds will receive a bye & guaranteed spot in the semi-final game. All teams are guaranteed 6 games.
Noon Ball is an organized opportunity to play adult basketball on our courts. Noon Ball is open to all Dow Bay Area Family YMCA members who are aged 18 and older. There are no additional costs to join in on a Noon Ball game!

The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
