YFFL is designed to give young athletes in 1st through 6th grade the fundamental skills and knowledge to develop into football players. Players will be trained through drills and live game play to learn the basics of football, the value of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship.

The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
