Jeff Buczek was a long time employee of the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and lifelong supporter of youth sports. In honor of Jeff’s life and love for his community, the Jeff Buczek Memorial Scholarship was established so local kids can participate in youth sports and swim programs at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA up to 100% off.

This scholarship helps strengthen and enrich the lives of the youth in our community and supports our cause of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Eligibility 

To be considered for the scholarship, all questions must be completed. Attach all applicable financial documents and turn it in to the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA Member Service Desk. No originals–only copies will be accepted.

• Scholarship applies only to YMCA youth sports and swim lesson programs (personal training/private swim not included).
• Family must complete a scholarship application and provide proof of income
• Applicant must not have an outstanding YMCA balance
  100% scholarship for the first 2 programs
• Family contributes 50% toward additional programs for the year. Must reapply each calendar year
