Unlock your creative potential in this comprehensive two-hour introductory course designed to help photography enthusiasts of all levels understand how to do more with their images.
This session will cover essential concepts such as exposure, composition, timing, and lighting. Whether you are shooting on a smartphone, a classic film camera, or a modern professional mirrorless system, you will learn practical techniques to elevate your pictures and tell more compelling stories.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a solid foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of photography, empowering you to make photos that will have you saying, “WOW, I took that!” The workshop will be led by Zachary Branigan, executive director of the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy and a documentary and nature photographer with over 20 years of experience.
