Each month, we recognize one member who stands out from the rest! Our Member of the Month lives within the Y’s Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Overall, he or she contributes to the culture of our Y and helps us carry out our mission.

The purpose of the Employees of the Month Program is to recognize employees who have served the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude.

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
