Lead Teacher Tykes Room (Ages 2–3) 

Primary Work Location: YMCA Childcare Center, 225 Washington Ave, Bay City  Reports to: Early Childhood Program Administrator  Status: Full-time/Hourly (40 hours per week)/Eligible for full-time employee benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA, Paid Time Off, YMCA Retirement and FREE YMCA Household Membership  Compensation: Starting at $15.29 per hour  POSITION SUMMARY:  This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. DOW BAY AREA FAMILY YMCA JOB DESCRIPTION   Job Title: Childcare Assistant Teacher  Work Location: Dow Bay Area Family YMCA Childcare Center location at 225 Washington Ave, Bay City 48708 Reports to: Director of Early Childhood  Status: Part Time (flexible – up to 29 hours per week)  Schedule: Various shifts available Monday-Friday between 7:00am-6:00pm  Compensation: Starting at $12.50 per hour and FREE YMCA Household Membership   POSITION SUMMARY:  This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.   • There are daily/weekly limits on some classes/areas to give opportunities to other members. The system will let you know if your daily/weekly limit has been reached.

Financial AsSistance Programs

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
