As the weather warms and Summer Day Camp approaches, it’s an exciting season at our YMCA. This summer, we’ll be serving more than 185 children each day through our licensed childcare and day camp programs, while also providing an estimated 30,000 meals across our food sites.
As we continue to grow and support our community, we’re equally committed to caring for our facility. Starting next week, we’ll begin several improvement projects to help keep our building safe, welcoming, and running at its best.
Just a reminder—our annual Bay City Fireworks parking lot fundraiser will take place on Saturday, July 4, this year. By purchasing one (or more!) parking spot(s), you will be supporting our financial assistance program, which provides scholarships for YMCA programs, childcare, and memberships.
Parking passes go on sale Tuesday, May 26th, and can be reserved at the front desk. Thank you for your continued support of our YMCA.

YMCA Facility Update
We’re happy to share that the Y will resume normal hours January 30th at 5:00 AM. Our 24/7 Fitness area will reopen , January 29th at 9:00 PM.
Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
There is a reduced joining fee. $25 for Youth/Teen, $25 for Adult, and $50 for Household memberships.
