Recovery Personal Training will consist of body tempering and/or KT taping. Participants can choose one or both during their 30-minute session. 60 minute sessions will consist of body tempering/KT taping to begin with and then a personal training session for the remainder of the time.
Body Tempering involves rolling various parts of our bodies with metal cylinders. The cylinder’s weight helps to relieve tightness of the muscles by breaking up trigger points and muscle adhesions. It is also reported to help rid our bodies of toxins, specifically from our fascia, veins and nerves. Body Tempering also helps prevent injuries such as hernias, tears, tweaks, muscle ruptures, and protect against trauma. It also helps promote and increase individual performance by allowing our bodies to work more effectively by ironing out muscle adhesions.
KT Taping is used to provide extra support for muscles and joints without restricting range of motion. It helps aid with muscle recovery, prevents cramping/muscle spasms, and enhances muscle development. Our personal trainer can apply the tape in your trouble area (it can be applied almost anywhere on your body!) and it will stay on for about 3 days.
We are offering a new variation of Personal Training: Muscle Recovery. There will be 30 minute and 60 minute sessions available for purchase in the same pricing as our standard personal training sessions.

Muscle Recovery is a very important aspect to a training program, building strength and muscle. Recovery after exercise will also assist in preventing future injury and muscle spasms. This type of session will consist of your choice of one or a combination of the recovery methods listed. The session will be completed by our recovery specialist Justin Grandy in a 30 minute time block.

Guasha (Muscle Scraping) is a practice in which a tool is used to scrape client’s skin in order to produce light petechiae. Practitioners believe that Guasha releases unhealthy bodily matter from blood stasis within sore, tired, stiff, or injured muscle areas to stimulate new blood flow to the areas promoting cell repair, generation, healing and recovery.
Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels under the skin. Your body treats the cupping area like an injury. It sends more blood to the area to stimulate the natural healing process. Some people theorize that cupping clears the pores and releases toxins.
