MANAGER ON DUTY (MOD)

DOW BAY AREA FAMILY YMCA JOB DESCRIPTION   Job Title: Manager on Duty  Reports to: Membership & Marketing Director  Compensation: $15.27 per hour  Schedule: Weekends ___________________________________________________________  POSITION SUMMARY:  This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Manager on Duty, under supervision of the Membership & Marketing Director, will be responsible for communication and coordination of all department leads during opening/closing and weekend shifts. This position is responsible for effectively communicating YMCA rules and policies to members and guests of all ages in order to provide a safe and pleasant experience for everyone using our facility.   JOB DETAILS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  QUALIFICATIONS:

We’re happy to share that the Y will resume normal hours January 30th at 5:00 AM. Our 24/7 Fitness area will reopen , January 29th at 9:00 PM.

  • There are daily/weekly limits on some classes/areas to give opportunities to other members. The system will let you know if your daily/weekly limit has been reached.

Financial AsSistance Programs

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.

There is a reduced joining fee. $25 for Youth/Teen, $25 for Adult, and $50 for Household memberships.
