Winter HR Intern 

Job Title: Winter HR Intern Reports to: Senior Director-Human Resources    Seasonal Position: January 2026 – April 2026  Schedule: 15-20 hours per week (flexible daytime hours Monday-Friday)  Compensation: $15 per hour, Free Y Membership during internship  POSITION SUMMARY:  This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The intern will provide business management support for the HR department, working directly with the Senior Director of Human Resources. Winter Health & Wellness Intern  

Job Title: Winter Health & Wellness Intern Reports to: Assistant Director – Wellness  Seasonal Position: January 2026 – May 2026  Compensation: $15 per hour, Free Y Membership during internship  Status: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)  _____________________________________________________________  POSITION SUMMARY:  The Y is seeking a fun, creative, enthusiastic and outgoing individual to provide health and wellness fitness support for the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA.  This internship provides dynamic guidance and leadership in the area of fitness promotional programming. The internship is an opportunity to gain experience working as an integral member of the Health and Wellness department. Lead Teacher Tykes Room (Ages 2–3)

The Group Exercise Instructor effectively builds community within the class and modifies class as needed to meet varied health, ability, and cultural needs. Financial AsSistance Programs

Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
