This entry-level indoor cycling class is designed to help new riders build confidence, learn proper bike setup, and develop foundational cycling skills. The focus is on steady pacing, safe resistance changes, and mastering good riding form.
Expect a mix of light climbs, smooth speed work, and guided technique coaching to help you feel comfortable on the bike while improving cardiovascular endurance. Perfect for anyone new to cycling or looking for a low-pressure, supportive environment.
No experience required, just bring water, a towel, and be ready to ride at your own pace!
YMCA Facility Update
We’re happy to share that the Y will resume normal hours January 30th at 5:00 AM. Our 24/7 Fitness area will reopen , January 29th at 9:00 PM.
Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
There is a reduced joining fee. $25 for Youth/Teen, $25 for Adult, and $50 for Household memberships.
