Job Title: Spinning Instructor Status: Part-Time Reports to: Sports & Wellness Director Compensation: $20.00/hour POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Instructs the Spinning group classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels. Effectively builds community within the class. Modifies class as needed to meet varied health, ability and cultural needs. Lifeguard Co-Op Bay City Western
Job Title: Lifeguard Co-Op Bay City Western Reports to: Aquatics Director Status: Part-Time Schedule: 7:30-10:30AM & 11:15AM-2:15PM Shifts Available, M-F Pay: $13.26 per hour & FREE YMCA Membership POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and promotes safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Builds positive relationships with members and program participants through effective listening and verbal skills and creatively finds ways to connect them to one another and the Y community.
