Yoga
Let’s “Re” connect to our best selves. Yoga fundamentals is a heart centered practice where we will uncover the strength found in slowing down. Here we will learn the practical yoga techniques for self care.
Specifically, Asanas (physical postures), Pranayamas (Breathing Exercises) and Dhyanas (Meditation and relaxation practices). Here we will learn how to release physical and emotional tensions while learning sun salutations, isometric holds, and dynamic movements.
We’ll take time with each technique to discover our individual comfortable edge. As the class progresses, we will increase in flow; our breath, rhythm and strength.
Yoga Fundamentals
Balance your energy and quiet your mind. Hatha Yoga focuses on physical postures (asana), breathing techniques and relaxation. Class begins with centering, breath work, warmups, moves through standing postures, balance and core floor work. This class moves a little slower than a Vinyasa class and is for all levels of practitioner.
