Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, the Y has a brand new kitchen! We will be offering cooking classes for our community in the coming year.
Are your kids eager to explore the world of cooking? Our Kid in the Kitchen class is the perfect opportunity for them to stir up some fun in the kitchen! Designed for budding young chefs, this class offers a hands-on, interactive experience where creativity and taste come together.

Is your little one ready to explore the world of cooking? Our Tots Cooking is a delightful introduction to the kitchen for young aspiring chefs! Designed specifically for toddlers and preschoolers, this class combines fun, creativity, and basic culinary skills in a way that’s perfect for their age.

Stop in March 17th to pick up your travel themed home cooking kit! Everything is preportioned for you to create authentic Irish Stew for you to create from home.
This cooking kit is a fun way to explore world cooking from the comfort of your own kitchen. Just add meat and you have a homemade Irish Beef Stew!

YMCA Facility Update
We’re happy to share that the Y will resume normal hours January 30th at 5:00 AM. Our 24/7 Fitness area will reopen , January 29th at 9:00 PM.
Individuals will not be turned away from participating in programs, activities, and/or membership due to their inability to pay. The Y maintains a generous financial assistance program for youth, adults, and families who demonstrate financial need. Funding for this program is provided by fundraising events at the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA and community-wide donors.
There is a reduced joining fee. $25 for Youth/Teen, $25 for Adult, and $50 for Household memberships.
