Tai Chi is the softest of all the martial arts and is practiced primarily for its health and meditative benefits. It is comprised of slow and gentle movements that promote balance and concentration. It consists of forms which are sequences of movements. The forms are named after the family that originated the form. The form being taught here is the Yang Secret Long Form, also known as the Michuan form. This form has three parts. Each part becomes progressively longer and more complex.
