Free Youth Food Program

The Dow Bay Area Family YMCA is making free healthy food available to any child 18 and under in our community. Our program has extended beyond our facility to include multiple off-campus locations within Bay County. Check them out below!

This is provided through a partnership with the Mid Michigan Child Care Food Program and Bay City Public Schools. All snacks are USDA approved and free for children in the community under the age of 18. *This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

ON-SITE

Free breakfasts and lunches are offered at the Dow Bay Area YMCA facility. Any Bay County resident under the age of 18 is welcome to stop by for free meals!

Breakfast: Mon-Fri 8:00-9:30am
Lunch: Mon-Fri 11:30am-12:30pm; Sat & Sun 12:00-1:00pm
Snack: Mon-Fri 4:00-5:00pm; Sat 10:00-11:00am

REXER-JABLONSKI PARK

Make a visit to Rexer-Jablonski Park on South Water Street in Bay City for free snacks, games, and prizes for kids all summer long!

Snacks: Saturdays & Sundays 2:00-3:00pm

BIRNEY PARK

Free snacks, games, and prizes for kids will be available all summer at Birney Park on Madison Avenue.

Snacks: Saturdays & Sundays 4:30-5:30pm

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB - BAY CITY LOCATION

Free dinner is being offered at the Bay City Boys and Girls Club on West Lafeyette Avenue. Stop by for a healthy meal!

Dinner: Mon-Fri 3:00-4:00pm

TRADEWINDS EAST

Free snacks are available at Essexville’s Tradewinds East apartment complex to all children in the community.

Snacks: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat 2:30-3:30pm

Baytown

Come over for a visit to Baytown Family Neighborhood for free snacks, games, and prizes for kids.
