A: There will be a section on the YMCA website for the Family Fitness Challenge. All the videos will be found under this section with the correct labels for each Workout.
A: The point system is based off the participation of 1 parent and of 1 child. It is our goal for the whole family to participate but in an attempt to keep the challenge fair to families of all sizes the point system is not able to be flexed. Whether One parent and one kid participate or two parents and 8 kids each day the possible points will remain the same and can’t be exceeded.
A: The sets and reps of the exercises can be found in the follow along video for each workout provided on the YMCA Bay City Website under the Family Fitness Challenge tab.
A: We recommend that children 4+ participate. However, this age limit varies depending on the child. This is a decision that each parent can make according to their knowledge of their child’s maturity and ability.
A: A PDF document with the workout information as well as a calendar layout of the challenge will be sent to you in the introduction email. The Workouts can also be found on the YMCA website under the Family Fitness Challenge Tab.
Any questions you have can be forward to Carlie Forsythe via email cforsythe@ymca.org
A: The Winner will be announced by October 28th. Last day to submit photos is October 21st at 5:00 PM
