A warm, safe, and caring environment is provided that encourages your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Children must be potty trained. Snacks are included and we ask that parents supply a lunch.

Education & Childcare

The Early Child Curriculum is designed around the Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum is an educational component with lesson plans that support each child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and language development.

NEW! Young 5’s

The Young 5’s classroom is a fun, developmentally appropriate, exciting, safe, loving, and healthy learning environment. Our childcare center follows the Creative Curriculum. The children learn through play and have the freedom to explore and excel, at a level that is appropriate and comfortable for each individual child.

Infant/Toddler Care

Preschool

Our preschool program encourages social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each and every child, using Creative Curriculum to provide the best foundations for growth. Y’s Kids

A fun place for your child to unwind after school. 6-12 years old. We have a bus from Washington Elementary and we pick up children from St. James/All Saints.

Parents Night Out

Calling all parents! When was the last time you had a night to yourselves? Drop your children off at the YMCA for some well-deserved time off. Your kids will have time in the pool (ages 5 and up), themed games, and crafts. Children ages 2 months to 12 years welcome! Unlimited pizza included.

Mother-Daughter Mad Hatter

 

Don’t be late for this very important date! It’s a mad hatter tea party! Come join us as we celebrate Mother’s Day with an afternoon of elegance and fun! Tea, sandwiches, sweets and punch will be provided; games to follow. Please bring along your favorite unique tea cup. Sundress, hat, and gloves are encouraged, but not required. Prizes will go to the ‘maddest’ hat! Perfect for girls 3 to 12 years of age. Aunts, Grandmas, and other important role models welcome. RSVP before Noon on Friday, May 12.

Snow Days at the Y

When school is canceled due to inclement weather, the Y has a place
for your children. Parents can relax and the kids can enjoy snow days off form school by participating in fun activities here at the Y. Games, arts and crafts, gym and pool are available! Please send a sack lunch and/or snack, swim suit, and towel. Ages 6 – 12 yrs.

Starting November 1st

Y-Member $30 per day
Prospective Member $35 per day

Non-School Days & Holiday Breaks

When school is closed for teacher inservice days or Holiday breaks, kids can enjoy the day here at the Y and parents can feel comfortable that their children have a fun way to spend their day. Bring your swimsuit and a sack lunch and/or snack. Must pre-register and pre-pay at the Member Service Desk for this program. School-aged children.
